For sundry reasons, I don't draw my dailies and sundays in a straight line. I draw them in pieces. If I'm lucky, all of those pieces fit on the same sheet of paper. Sometimes the art is pretty much where I want it, and other times it's one scrawl after another, trying to find the look.
For this Sunday, I confined it to one sheet, with only a few changes (in the lower left corner, you'll see a more extended grimace, which I pasted onto Spot's face for the last panel; and I considered having Spot wag a tongue when he sees the icecream in the first panel, then went with an open mouth, sans tongue.)
Being warm-blooded, I do suffer the occasional icecream headache. But it's the thorn on the rose.
