And speaking of health, I'm now wearing my new lenses, and I think the world is clearer. I'm pretty sure it is. The change is more subtle than I thought it would be, and the weather has been dour and gray for weeks. The view out the window is a grainy newspaper photo. There's one test yet to be tested: the grocery store. With my old glasses, I couldn't read the signs at the other end of the aisle. As soon as the milk runs low, I'll drive over and read the eye charts suspended over the soup and cereal.
